SoleSocial, operated by Nexus Creative Group LLC. This policy governs how monthly hosting-share payouts are calculated, scheduled, disputed, and reported for tax purposes. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
Verified creators earn a monthly Hosting Share based on their community contribution — a percentage of net platform revenue attributable to members they invited and members they host in their communities. Payouts are direct-deposit ACH (US), monthly on the 15th, sent from our Mercury Business account. Annual 1099-NEC filings are handled through Track1099.com so tax reporting is direct-to-creator with no middleman.
Must be 18+ years old with a valid government-issued ID on file.
Must have accepted this Creator Payout Policy and completed the payout profile setup.
Must be in good standing under our Acceptable Use Policy. Suspended or terminated accounts forfeit any pending Hosting Share balance under Section 6.
US-based creators: Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) required for tax reporting.
Non-US creators: valid W-8BEN on file with our disbursement partner.
2. How Hosting Share Is Calculated
Hosting Share is a percentage of net platform revenue attributable to your community contribution. Percentages are set by your creator tier and are visible on your Founder Dashboard at all times.
“Net platform revenue” means gross subscription revenue collected by our merchant processor (CCBill) minus refunds, chargebacks, and processor fees. Hosting Share is calculated at the end of each calendar month.
3. Payout Schedule & Method
Cadence: Monthly, on the 15th of each calendar month.
Period covered: Earnings from the 1st through last day of the immediately preceding calendar month.
Method: Direct-deposit ACH sent from our Mercury Business bank account to the US bank account you provide on payouts/setup. Funds typically settle 1–2 business days after the 15th.
Minimum payout: $25 USD. Balances below the minimum roll forward to the next month.
Reminder emails: Sent on the 12th of each month to creators with a payable balance.
Holidays / weekends: If the 15th falls on a US federal holiday or weekend, the payout is initiated on the next business day.
International creators: Not supported at launch. We are actively evaluating adult-vertical-friendly international rails (Paxum, ePayService) for year 2.
4. Tax Reporting & Track1099
US creators who receive $600 or more in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099-NEC by January 31st of the following year.
Filings are prepared through Track1099.com (an IRS-authorized e-file provider) and delivered to you electronically. A paper copy is available on request.
To be included in the annual filing, you must have your Tax ID (SSN or EIN) and mailing address saved on payouts/setup before December 31st of the tax year.
Your Tax ID is Fernet-encrypted at rest with the same key as your bank details. We decrypt it once a year, only during 1099 preparation, and every decryption is logged.
Non-US creators are not currently onboarded. When international support opens in year 2, a W-8BEN will be required in place of a Tax ID.
You are solely responsible for your own income tax filings. SoleSocial does not provide tax advice.
5. Disputes & Adjustments
You have 30 days from payout date to dispute a Hosting Share calculation. Email payouts@solesocial.app with the disputed period and your calculation. We will respond within 5 business days.
Chargebacks and refunds occurring after a payout has been issued are deducted from future Hosting Share balances. If future balances are insufficient, SoleSocial reserves the right to request repayment.
Failed ACH transactions (bad account number, closed account) are returned to your SoleSocial balance and rolled into the next month once you correct your payout profile.
6. Termination, Suspension, and Forfeiture
A creator account that is terminated for a Category 1 violation of the Acceptable Use Policy (including but not limited to content involving minors, non-consensual imagery, or trafficking-related conduct) will forfeit any pending Hosting Share balance. Forfeited balances are not paid out and are not recoverable.
Creators terminated for lesser violations may petition for release of the pending balance via our Complaints procedure, subject to a case-by-case review.
7. Changes to This Policy
We will provide creators with at least 30 days’ written notice (via email and in-app banner) before any material change to Hosting Share percentages, payout cadence, or minimum thresholds. Non-material clarifications may be published without notice with an updated “Last Updated” date.
